So cute I may hurl!

Ever see pictures of kids that are so cute you want to puke?  I used to be one of those kids.  Yep, me.  The girl with 11 piercings (a few of which in un-nameable places) and a big baby of a pit bull dog.  The girl who posts pictures of her nasty feet just to share what I did that evening.

I had to wait ages for mom to send me these!!  Hold your applause....

Oh yeah, this is Day 19 of the 30 Day Photo Challenge--A picture of me when I was little.  That adorable little gentleman is Bubba.

I'm sooo happy to be off today!  Then one more day of work and I get a four day weekend!  Means I'm drivin home to see Bubba and the fam most likely.  I love the Fourth.  We usually have a big neighborhood cookout and fireworks show.  This year, we're going to dad's boat club for food and fishing.  Not sure what all else, but I like creating new traditions sometimes.  As long as it involves fireworks, drinking, and family I don't really care what we do.

Do you celebrate the Fourth of July?  Do you have any traditions?

blah blah ba blah blah blah!

Ever had one of those weeks at work where you just wanted to shout at everyone and show them what a REAL hard worker looks like???  Not at all, right?  It's day 3 of this wretched thing we call a work week and I'm about to throttle some people.

I usually don't try to draw attention to the things I've been helping out with at work.  Hell most of the time I'd rather people just think *poof*pow*magic hands* it happened.  I do feel under appreciated quite often at work, but who in this "real world" feels they are over appreciated??  I feel it comes with the territory of having a job.

But seriously!!!  Don't train me to expect more responsibility and to WANT more responsibility if you aren't going to let me claim the responsibility!!!  No wonder my annual was just average, I'm hardly allowed to actually do my job...

Being the smart ass I tend to be, I purposely got myself sent to a separate part of the building to help with their jobs.  You want so-and-so to know how to do my job and all the stress it entails?  Let'em have fun!  I'll do the other part of my job.  It's you against the world up there in that spot, so I'm out helping where I feel needed.

Ok, I'm done with that tirade... I just don't like being any one's bitch...

On to more interesting things.  So Matt's birthday went so much better than expected.  I ended up getting off work late, but it didn't really affect anything.  So I go to Maggie Moo's (this ah-MAZING lil ice cream shop in Norman close to my work) to pick up his ice cream cake.  I'm thinking it'll feed like 5 people since they told me 8 and places usually underestimate how much my boy can eat.  This was Saturday when I picked it up.

It's now Tuesday and....

I STILL HAVE HALF!!!

We have about triple the number of people show up than I thought were coming.  My tab was relatively low, and Matt got nice and toasty.  We ended up going out to Bestie's again to swim, tops on this time.  Matt later told me it had been the best birthday yet.

Too bad the air conditioner was out... It went out Friday night and my house wasn't cold again until Monday evening.  My poor puppies couldn't escape the heat!!  This was just days after the same thing happened at work... I swear the land hurricane that came through awhile back killed every air conditioner in town!  I knew people who had to drive 30 minutes just to find a shitty window unit!  Thankfully roommate got a job at Walmart so he could pick one up on shift before they all vanished.

Unfortunately, the boys think it's smart to run the a/c at 65 all day every day now.  I wonder if they realize we may need ANOTHER new condenser soon if they keep this up?  I'll be packin up and headed to Bestie's if this happens again lol.

Oh!  Guess who got a NEW and FREE piercing for Matt's birthday.  ME!  The deal with our piercer was that both of us would get a free one if he got to choose where.  Knowing what he would pick, we agreed.  Matt ended up declining his the day of because they were going to have to use a size larger than normal due to supply shortage.  You should have seen his eyes when they showed him the ring!  "You think that is going where?!?!?!"  I manned up and got my VCH done (gonna have to google that one people, or just think really hard lol).  It stung for a day but hasn't since.  J told me bumpy roads and speed bumps are going to be my favorite things in the world after awhile lol.

I know I have somewhat stopped on the 30 Day Photo Challenge, but I'm waiting on momma to email me a few pictures.  Seriously.

Anyway, this is everything that has happened in my absence from you my lovelies!  Hopefully your weeks are going better than mine so far lol!

Love!!

I think my glutes hate me...

Tomorrow is Matt's 25th birthday.  I have some great things lined up: disc golfing after we both get off work, an ice cream cake with Reese's mixed in, and a night out at Logan's on the Corner with some of our favorite people.  All he knows about is disc golf and that we're going somewhere that night.  He has a habit of blowing my surprises, so no telling!!!  I'm really excited.  The last time I planned something for his birthday his buddy showed up early and sorta ruined it but sorta didn't.  I wish his Little could be here but he's 2000ft (give or take) underground in Virginia.  His Big is gonna make it though, I think.  I really hope he enjoys himself.  This took a ton of planning!  I mean bestie and I sat around at work for at least 5 minutes ordering the cake and planning where to go.  That really cut into my slacking time today!

Anyway, on to the glutes.  We played 4 games of disc golf yesterday!  Yes, 4!!  Granted 2 of them were at a 9 hole course and the 3rd was too but we only played 6 holes cause the course sucks big donkey balls.  Seriously!!

*Okay sorry went out to Logan's for a coworker's birthday (yes, before Matt's birthday) after that last part and I'm a lil hammered so excuse any fuck ups from here on out.*

Going up and down hills kills you if you don't work out regularly...  (stupid spine...)

I would be doing my 30 Days of Photos post but I need to get my mom to scan the next one so I can post it.

I'm going to bed yall, too many mixed drinks tonight...

What I'm Loving Wednesday!

Ever watched a movie that leaves you wondering "what the hell did I just watch???"  That's what I"m doing right now.  I'm watching Sucker Punch.  So far, I'm loving it, but at the same time I'm super confused.  What I'm getting is that there is a high roller burlesque whore house disguised as a mental institution/orphanage.  See why I'm confused??  The music is pretty kickass.  Gonna have to get me some of it to dance around in my underwear to.  Or maybe put on my own little show.  Ooo!  A belly dance routine to some of this would be awesome.  That reminds me, I need to get my new shimmy belt out of the car.  Yes I dance occasionally.  Ooo!  There's Spock!  Omg this movie is a nerd's wet dream just like we thought it would be!

I'll get back to the movie later, for now I'll tell you what I'm loving today.

My air conditioning!  Our air conditioner at work went out yesterday.  Oklahoma has had some triple digit weather the last few days, so today was miserable.  I was working in a lab coat while it was 81 degrees with no air movement.  It was fixed late this afternoon but it didn't cool off all that much before I went home.  It was soooo nice to get home and nap in the coolness of my living room.

My new disc golf bag that came in the mail yesterday!  I figure I have acquired enough discs to need my own bag, plus Matt is getting too many to keep all of our discs in one bag.
{via}
Yep, my bag is pink!  I was super excited when I saw that you can get pink ones.  Plus they claim to have tested it with howler monkeys so hopefully this thing can stand up to the abuse I tend to put any type of bags through.

My lovely lil crochet flowers that I won over at Fairly Fabulous and her birthday extravaganza.  I have worn the pink one all week!  Everyone keeps asking me where I got it at (Something Diane Made to be exact).  I'm gonna have to find the site for the etsy shop so I can get that girl some more business!

And finally, I'm totally loving The Sarcasm Goddess!  Not that this is anything new, but I feel I should share this little tidbit with the world.  She is definitely tone of the highlights of my days here lately.  I've been needing a break from my own chaotic life, and she has delivered time and time again.  When I shared my hairwrenching story of getting my nipples pierced, she freaked out with me like she was there and made sure that I still have feeling in them.  What more could you ask from a great new friend?!?!  I mean really, it means a lot when someone cares about the *ahem* little things.

So that's what I'm loving today.

Back to this trip of a movie now.  Okay, so we figured out Spock is not really Spock, just a lookalike.  The boys are basically kiddos in a candystore with this one.  "Mechanical Nazi zombies and hot girls kicking ass?  Hell yeah!"  I'm basically a lil hormonal teenage girl "Mechanical zombie Nazis and girls kicking ass who happen to be smokin?"  Haha, it's a win win tonight.  I wanna see this girl dance though.  Apparently it's mesmerizing or so we're led to believe.

You should check this one out for sure!

Hope yall have a good night.

Love!!

I'm gonna lay it all out there

I mean it.  Really.  Eventually.

Have you ever chased your dogs through the field behind your house because your fence was blown down by hurricane force winds even though you clearly live smack dab in the middle of a landlocked state?  I have!  The dogs decided to find their way into the backyard while Matt and I were bleaching the kitchen (this is another story all together).  Here's how that train of thought/adventure went for them:

Dogs: ooo! back door is open! (get into yard)

Roxi: I don't remember the yard being this big...

Tank: Imma chase my tail while laying on the ground!

Roxi: Let's go see what this is! (runs through gaping gape in fence)

Tank: Om nom nom tail.... Wait!  Where you goin???  Wait for me!!  (follows Roxi)

(Dogs run east to 24th SE)

Roxi: ah fooey!  This is a road... I wonder where the other way leads?

Tank: Om nom nom more tail... What's those things goin by real fast???  They look like they need chased!

Roxi: goin this way!!! (runs west)

Tank:  baaahhh wait for me!!! (ADD kicks in and he forgets about those things and follows Roxi)

Roxi:  I think daddy is yelling at me... I'm gonna keep runnin cause he's chasing me, game right?  (Matt histerically yelling, Allie huffing and puffing miles behind...)

Tank:  Roxi! Roxi! Rox (falls in hole) oop, gopher hole! {bonus points to who can name that movie!}

Roxi: Yep he's yelling my name... More room to run!  Daddy catch up!!

Tank: Here comes the dog, strong and brave - woof! Here comes the dog, your life he...
(falls into a hole) {name this one too!}

Roxi: Ahhh s#!*... I'm done, daddy's mad...

Tank: Why we stoppin???  Hey daddy!  Let's run!

Roxi: hey dumb@$$, we're in trouble...

Seriously, that is how it went.  They spent the greater part of the evening in time out, whilst Matt and I finished bleaching the kitchen and decluttering the living room.  I was dripping in sweat by the time we stopped, it was ridiculous the amount of cleaning our house needed.  I thought we did a decent job of keeping it, well, decent.  Apparently not...

Sadly, that isn't what I'm layin out there today... this is... my biggest insecurity for day 18 of my photo challenge.  This is actually quite hard for me to admit to, I'm a shallow person.  Sue me.  You can't say you aren't ever shallow.  You can?  Really?  I'm gonna show you a greek god and an average Joe.  Without knowing either of them at all, who would you choose without thinking?  The god.  Everyone would.  That's shallow, so there!  If you wouldn't, I think we may have just witnessed the second coming.

Here goes...

That my dear friends... is stretch marks... on my no longer at all toned tummy... or flab, whatever you wanna call it...

I used to be quite a bit smaller than I am now.  Moving to Norman ruined my figure (other than giving me nice gozongas).  I'm determined to get back to where I was fifty pounds ago.  Once I get paid again, I'm getting a gym membership to aid in my weight loss.  I know I've already lost a good chunk, but it's not good enough for me.  I wanna be able to keep up with Matt.  The boy has had back surgery for crying out loud!  I should be able to easily keep up with him even if I'm severely out of shape.  I've also been told it will help with my back pain to get back to my former size.

No more self loathing tonight!  I'm gonna go try to get my freak on haha.

And yes, Tank is pretty dumb and absent minded.  I know you got that, but I know there are a few people who won't catch it.  I love the cuddly thing, but he's dumb as a box of rocks.  He does actually lay on the floor and chase his tail at the same time for what seems like hours.  It's quite entertaining.  For both him and myself.

Hope you had a wonderful start to your week!

Love!!

30 Days of Photos--Day 17

Have you ever had something make such a profound impact on your life that it doesn't matter how long ago it happened?  I have.

When I graduated from college.  It wasn't that long ago, December 2010 to be exact, but it still has an impact on my life.  With the economy the way it has been, I have been lucky to have a job.  Especially one that will work around school if I decide to go back for my Masters, which I eventually plan to do.  Graduation also gives me a chance at a better life.  Don't get me wrong, I have a good life, sometimes hard, but good, but a degree makes it easier to not have to worry about every little thing.

Ugh, it's been a very short weekend.  I spent yesterday on the road, and a good portion of today cleaning... I feel like I haven't even really had a weekend... I wish I could have just a plain old boring weekend with nothing to do.  I think I'm about to head to bed... Tomorrow starts another long work week...  I sound so enthused don't I?  Sorry just tired of the same old same old.  I need some adventure!  Some good ol' couch surfing adventure!  Haha, whatever works.  Anyway, off to bed lovelies.

Love!!

Are we There Yet??? He's touching me!! I'm hungry!!

How many times have you heard those?  Hundreds?  Thousands?  More I bet.  That's typically what you here from siblings in a long car ride.  That's how my brother and I are.

But not today!  We went on a mini roadtrip to Kinta, OK today to see family.  We haven't seen our great aunt and uncle in years.  GA isn't doing too well, she has some sort of condition that causes her spine to be in constant pain.  She was told it could get better but she would have to take narcotics for the pain until then.  Dad said she probably wouldn't make it much longer.  GU is going deaf but is still getting around well.  He was at a fishing tournament when we got to the house.  He did show up before we left, which was nice.

We had a lot of fun.  If you ever head to northeast Oklahoma, you absolutely have to stop in at Duke's Diner in Warner.  I've been told their burgers are good, but I had their grilled chicken.  It was amazing!!  They put lemon pepper on it and possibly lemon juice.  You put lemon pepper on something and I will most likely love it though haha.

On the road again!

My handsome brother

Their cute little house.

You should definitely click on this and read the fish.  That's OSU for ya!

You can't get views like this in the city.

30 Day photo Challenge--Day 16:  Someone who inspires you.

Michael Bloomberg inspires me quite a bit.  What he was able to do in NYC so soon after the towers fell amazes me.
As for an actress, Alyson Hannigan inspires me.  She can any part thrown at her and make it look natural.
Of course, both my momma and Meme inspire me, but I personally see those as givens (in my case anyway).

Hope you guys are having a wonderful weekend!

Ketchup!!!

I'm still alive!!!  Promise!  Ever gone a week without internet AND cable?  Yeah, I just did that.  I thought I was gonna die.  Ok, so we had cable in the bedroom but I like to sit on my couch and watch the big screen.  Don't know how we had it in the bedroom except that it isn't digital and they didn't know we used it (haha, take that evil corporation!).  I got a lot of reading done though, that's for sure.  I also got some sleep in for once which, if you know me or pay attention to my posting times, is amazing.

As I said in my last phone post, Norman got some crazy weather earlier this week.  I was stuck in my favorite piercing/tattoo parlor watching their window (that is held up by scotch tape) bend inwards.  I thought I'd be digging glass out of my forehead for sure!  Thankfully, the scotch tape held.  Unfortunately, the shop flooded from both the front and back.  The whole town lost power at least once, or so I was told.

I got home and found my back fence laying down.  The panel by my bedroom window broke the post in half.  Poor puppies can't have their backyard back until we fix it.  They are going crazy and driving me bonkers at the same time!  Two pent up dogs that are used to wrestling in the backyard bringing their favorite playtime activity to the bed and the entire living room isn't fun...  They go for hours!!!  I swear it's like my dogs have caffeine drips!!  They're ridiculous.

So that's why I have been gone and failed to post every day like I had challenged myself.  I plan to make up for it today and add a few days in July so I have my 30.

Without further ado, my pictures:
Day 10 - A picture of the person you do the most screwed up things with.
Obviously, we're together all the time lol.  He's my partner in crime.

Day 11 - A picture of something you hate.

If I have to explain this one, I'm sorry.  The ones in Oklahoma have gotten HUGE!!  And it's like my blood is full of sugar or something...  You would think all the garlic I eat would help, nope!

Day 12 - A picture of something you love.

As I have said before, I'm a little obsessed with these.  In fact, Matt told me would could buy a walk in freezer and get me a penguin!  He's the sweetest.

Day 13 - A picture of your favorite band or artist.

Ok, so I don't really have a favorite, but Zombie has always been top 10.  I get to go see him live in exactly a month.  Super excited bout that one.  Plus he makes some badass movies.

Day 14 - A picture of someone you could never imagine your life without.

I know you guys have seen this one before, but it's the only photo of us I can find.  I know I have more but that requires finding my camera cord and I'm lazy.

Day 15 - A picture of something you want to do before you die.

It's on my bucket list actually!
I would go into a long lengthy dialogue for these, but I figure a really long post would suck right now.

The piercings are healing nicely.  I love them!  I don't think my mother really does, but at least I can remove these if I get tired of them haha.  I haven't gotten anything permanent yet.  I have plans though!  You guys will get pictures of those of course.  Speaking of pictures, my photoshoot has been pushed back a month which both sucks and rocks.  Sucks because I finally started getting over my self-confidence issues.  You wouldn't have known I had those issues Wednesday night, oddly enough.  I was playing *ahem*topless*ahem* beerpong in my bestie's pool.  Shameless plug: Go to Spencer's Gifts and buy a glowing, floating beerpong table.  You won't regret it!  It also has an iPod dock.

Sorry tangent...  It rocks because I have another month to workout, tan a little, and buy more outfits for it.  I know for a gothic, pinup shoot I shouldn't be tan but a little can't be too bad.  Besides if I plan to go on the river or lake this summer, I have to get a base tan or I'll look like a tomato the rest of the summer.  Painful.

Anyway, I'm gonna get my nerd on and finish Star Wars with the boys.  In the words of this last random commercial "Get out there and nail something!" (not sure what it was for)

Love!!!

Wild wild weather!!

This is what I saw driving down Classen after the first crazy wave of wind, rain, and hail. It's the only picture I could snap before the phone died. Once I get internet back I'll post more pictures from my camera. We have another wave coming through soon too... Norman looks like a hurricane went through...

30 Days of Photos

Today's topic is a picture of someone who has gotten me through the most. I'm cheating.

I have three.

Mom, Bubba, and Matt.  All in their own way.

I can explain this better when I get internet back... it isn't working for some stupid reason... I'm aggravated so I'm off to bed...

30 Days of Photos--Day 8

I got some new holes in me!  Yeah that's right, holes.  Plural.  5 holes, 4 piercings.  Why so many at once you ask?  Of course you want to know so I'll tell you.  I've become pretty good friends with a local piercer here in Norman.  He joins us at bars and out at houses to drink.  Basically, I trust him not to screw up no matter what.  So this guy, J, is moving out of state next week.  I have a ton of piercings I eventually want done, but most I think I can trust to other piercers in the area with a good reputation.  These, however, I only trusted him to do.

What are these you ask?  Well, I'll tell you!  I decided months ago that I was getting my nipples pierced.  *GASP*  But but but WHY would you want those pierced?!?!?!  I don't really have an explanation for this one.  I just wanted them done.  Apparently I have "under developed nipples."  That's what J told me.  You see for most females they just pierce through the nipple, but for me he had to go through the areola like for a male nipple piercing.  I like them though, they look good.  Hurt like a bitch once I got feeling back that is, haha.  No pictures for this one, not putting porn on my blog.  I also go my left cartilage pierced (same side as my tragus) and an industrial in my right ear.  I was off balance with just my tragus done, so I wanted the industrial but that would leave me off balance as well.  What's a girl to do but get an extra on the left?  Haha!  I only two holes that actually hurt were the bottom of the industrial and the right nipple.  I'm good now though.

That's why I'm so late with this Day 8 post, a picture that makes me laugh.

Oh goodness, what doesn't make me laugh!!  Haha.

Me, my bestie's Lil, and my bestie!
Yeah so this was Halloween 2007.  I was supposed to be a witch but ended up being mistaken for a dominatrix.  I think it was the collar and arm cuffs.  Anyway, here I am and bestie's Lil are being cutesy and bestie is trying to be a badass.  Oh hell, she IS a badass.  She's supposed to be a VS Angel, but I think she looks more like a Hell's Angel.  Oh and yes, bestie is flippin HOT!  I came to terms with this years ago.  I'm hot in my own way too, like I have bigger boobs and a bigger butt than her haha!

Anyway, fun fun night.  This was Matt and I's first Halloween.  Technically we weren't actually together.  But you'd have thought so that night!  I ended up not remembering much because this was a Teke party and the Teke's know how to take care of their women.  Matt and I enjoyed ourselves later that night heh heh.

Yep, those memories make me laugh.  I have so many other pictures, but I thought the story behind this one was pretty awesome.  And gives you some insight into what I'm like outside of our little bloggie world.  If you ask nicely I may even give you Matt and I's whole story of "how we got together."  But you have to ask really really nicely, because it's somewhat defaming for myself.

Anywho!  Off to Ihop with the roommate (who has a blog too, you should check him out) until Matt gets home from poker night with the boys!

Love!!!

Thankful Thursday and a Bloggie Award!

Ahhh what a day!  Ever have one of those days that you just don't want to end?  Yeah, I know, we all do.  Today was definitely one of those days!  Matt and I were off together, which is always nice.  We made the pilgrimage to Crossroads Mall to see a friend, oddly enough, not nearly as scary as it usually is!!  If you know anything about the OKC area, you know Crossroads is NOT one of the places one tends to CHOOSE to go to if one has a choice.  However, we've been going about once a month now to pick up our dietary supplements (no, not drugs, actual dietary pills {we both have bad backs and knees so hardcore workouts are not as helpful unless we don't want to move for a few days}) (it's the only store in the area that carries it for now), so we're getting used to the ...ahem... scenery.  We made a few other stops: Mrs. Cools, Play it Again Sports (we're regulars now!), and Taramuhara's.  No Frolfing today kiddies, waaaaayyy to damn windy to throw a disc anywhere near a pin!!!  It was/is a good day!

Anyway, I have a lot to be thankful for this week so I'm kinda excited!  Here ya go:

  • Matt and I got a discount today for our diet pills because the guy has come to know us (and Matt kept his word about telling him about any space openings in Sooner Mall).
  • While at PiAS, we got a free disc.  We go in once a week or so and talk to the main guy, so we've gotten to know him well.  I picked a Latitude 64 Halo and got Matt a 2011 tournament disc.  We sit there and BS for awhile and Matt pops off about his Innova Shark he really likes.  The guy grabs a disc, says "you like sharks?  here have this one."  Like for free.  It was his last one from the 2009 Red Dirt Doubles tournament.
Our 3 new discs!  Mine is the blue one, the red one was the free one, and the pink one is the tourney one.
  • Met a girl at the dog park today who fosters dogs.  I'm happy to have finally met someone who is able to do that and who cares enough to socialize these poor pups.
  • Apparently the Germans were impressed with our center this week when they came.  All I really know is that our audit (inspection) by the German Health Authority went pretty well, no results really yet.
  • I got a little pat on the back for the hard work I put into cleaning for said audit.  It feels good to be appreciated.
  • I now have both an Avon lady AND a Mary-Kay lady.  For awhile I only had one or the other, which made me sad.  I may not be a girly girl, but I do love makeup.  When I can find great stuff for even greater prices NOT at Wal Mart, it's a good day lol
  • Matt is FINALLY starting to spoil Tank.  While most may not see this as a good thing, said most didn't witness the reaction I got when I brought him home.  Trust me, it's a good thing!
  • Tank got an ear infection... And we cured it WITHOUT going to the vet.  A little home remedy I was given: put peroxide in a spray bottle, spray in ear, rub around, dry out.  Do this for a few days and... no more head shaking or whining.  (I'm not a vet and I don't claim to know cure-alls.  Do not try any home remedies without vet/doctor approval)
  • I got all the little lovelies I won in Meagan's gigantic birthday giveaway over at Fairly Fabulous this week!  You should definitely check this little lady out, if you haven't already.  I don't care what she says, she's not fairly fabulous, she's completely fabulous!!  I'll post pictures of them as I wear/use them!
Meagan, this is what I have done with my bumper sticker!!  She loves it almost as much as I do!!

  • I have a pending road trip with Bubba.  We're going to see our ailing great-aunt in Kinta.  Doesn't sound fun, but you'd have to know our family.  It'll be a blast.  Plus, a roadtrip with Bubba is always a fun time!
And the final thing on the list for now:

  • TrueBlood starts in T minus 16 days!!!
Sorry, had to throw that out there.

I was also nominated for my second Bloggie Award!  Yes, I'm thankful for this too, but I thought I'd give it it's own little section tonight.  Miss Jodie over at Ramblings of A Fabulous Brunette (yep, definitely completely fabulous as well) gave me the:

Sooo 7 facts about lil ol' me...
  1. I'm convinced Tank has acquired magical powers his receiving his scar.  He snatched a melon rind off the middle of the cabinet tonight, and we proved he couldn't reach that far.  See?  Magical powers!
  2. I looooove dark chocolate, like love love love it!  I like white chocolate too, but it's not really chocolate so it doesn't count (no really, look it up).
  3. Tonight, I ate my first honeydew melon.  Ever.  It was, well, orgasmic to say the least.  Yeah, I had them in those mixed fruit thingies, but I've been told that doesn't count because let's be honest those taste like cardboard.
  4. I love sports and sports' icons, but I don't like Kobe Bryant or Lebron James.  *gasp*  Meh, I like guys/gals with a little class.
  5. I like to take pictures of things that are not what you would usually see or at least make you scratch your head.  I plan on starting a feature about such things in the near future.
  6. The only gun I've ever shot other than a BB gun is Matt's 9mm.  However, I plan on having a few in the coming years.  I really want a Glock if I can find one that fits my hands well.  Matt is trying to talk me into a pink 9mm... I would like to NOT get laughed at, thanks for the thought though hun!  Pink is one of my favorite colors, but so are black and silver lol.
  7. My favorite flavor of sunflower seeds is ranch.  Actually, my favorite flavor of just about anything (other than sweets) is ranch.  I also dip just about everything in ranch.  I think I just really like ranch lol.
And I am going to nominate....

Vic at a cup of freck
Jaimie at Legos in My Pocket
Mollie at OK in UK
Hayley at The Weekend File

Hope yall have a wonderful Friday!

Love!!!

30 Days of Photos--Day 7

A picture of my most treasured possession.

Which just happens to be....

...in a box....

...somewhere in the garage....

Yes, that's right it still isn't unpacked from August.  Mostly because this house it too small for all of Matt and I's crap with the crap of two other people as well.  That, and I think Tank would try to eat it.  Or rather, them.

My most prized possession(s) is my Granny's collection of elephants.  She collected elephants from around the country and the world.  My Grandpa made the military his career so they had the opportunity to see so many different places.  After he retired, they continued to travel the world throughout the years.

Granny Barb passed Valentine's Day of my freshmen year of high school.  It was a very difficult time for me.  Grandpa Del joined her October 2009.  This past summer, their daughters finally had the heart to go through the house.  They said everyone could take an elephant or two.  Matt and I came back several times for little stuff we could use around the house or to pick stuff up for mom.  The last time we went to get the washer and drier, L said that if we wanted anything else to get it because she was having people come out to get ready for an estate sale.  I walked into the living room and saw the majority of Granny Barb's elephants still in their places.  Without thinking I grabbed a box and told L that I couldn't stand to see them sold off.  Matt and I carefully packed the elephants into multiple (yes, multiple) boxes.

Now they sit in those boxes until I can find a shelf that will do them justice and keep them out of Tank's mouth.  So I leave you with a picture of an elephant in place of the actual collection, since showing you a picture of a box is just quite boring.

30 Days of Photos--Day 6

A picture of the person I'd love to trade places with for a day???

Geez... really????  (As Matt yells "Jesus!" To which I reply "He's dead..."  His witty reply???  "No!  The one down at the Home Depot!".... no he's not racist just.... um... politically incorrect.... especially at this time of night... I'm sorry for any offense taken...  *smacks boy upside head*)

Yep, Bo the First Dog.  Do you realize how pampered this guy must be????  Matt was the one who actually suggested this guy, because he know how much I LOVE pampering.  I mean really, he has to be camera ready all the time and I'm sure they have the BEST groomers working for him.

Who would you trade places with???

Sorry so short... I was at work for god knows how long today... I cleaned my ENTIRE shift!!!  We have our German audit tomorrow and the center was in a rush to make the place look like you could eat off of every surface...  Oh yeah, I made it so you can!  My body feels like it is not going to move in the morning... Marchel and I are soooo letting loose tomorrow night after all this stress!!!  Tequila and a dip in the pool are definitely in order tomorrow.

Anyway, happy Tuesday!

30 Days of Photos--Day 5 AND Obscure Monday

That's right, two posts in one!  I figured I should get back to my Monday posts.  I know yall missed them!  So without further ado I give you tonight's Obscure Monday post (yep, that's right you have to wait until later in the post to see my next photo).

Title: Chrysalis

First off, this movie is in French so if you don't know French or like movies with subtitles, you won't like this one.

The plot line is great, full of action and twists.  It goes between two different storylines that intersect near the middle-ish.

There's a mind control machine, government co-ops, a haunted cop, and a crazy woman.  It's full of suspense and keeps you guessing.  The hand-to-hand fighting is superbly choreographed, as is the gun fighting.

Overall, it's just one of those you have to see to really know how great it really is.

Could it be the two biggest days in my sorority career???

My bid day, with my Wonderful Sis Mom Colleen.
The day I got to tell Lindsey (left) that she is my Little!  With my G-Big Comela.

Or maybe the plays I was in in high school??

Me as a Jitter Bug in the Wizard of Oz, junior year I believe.

Or maybe all days I've had with Matt???

How about when we picked out Roxi??

Roxi, the second time we saw her.  We went to visit our soon-to-be babygirl.

Or when I brought home Tank???

He soooo hated this caging!  He learned to get out real quick.

There are so many to choose from.  I guess these are all my favorites in one way or another.  Yeah, I know, there is more than 1 photo... my blog, I don't care lol!!!

Anyway, I may only have a very short post tomorrow.  The Germans are coming....

*pause for effect*

My work's headquarters are in Germany and they are sending people to audit us on Wednesday.  Apparently they are really strict and a little crazy about some things.  Little nervous?  You betcha!  I would say I'm just gonna be me, but that might get me fired.  Lol jk, just need to put on my "super professional" panties and suck it up when it comes to joking around with donors...  ugh...

Hope yall had a happy Monday!!!

Love!!

What the?!?!?!

I'm watching E3 with Matt before I go to work this afternoon.  Yes, I'm a nerd and love my video games.  So I'm not really paying attention and look up and see this real life guy kicking and punching.  A video game character is following his actions.  The game is called Ryse.  It's a Kinect game in which you are the warrior and what you do he does.  Definitely buying this one!  I mean really, what could be more satisfying than kicking and your character kicking the shit out of someone???  And it would be a good work out too.  Plus, I've had the kinect for almost a year and still don't have any games for it.  It's sad actually.

Second, Halo Anniversary is coming out in November.  Matt about fell off the couch when this one was announced.  They are remastering the original, giving it Xbox Live functionality, and online co-op.  I've only ever played the first one, but this has me jumping up and down.  I can't wait to try it out!

The new Gears of War looks pretty bad ass.  I love that Ice T plays a character in it.  Not a big Gears fan, however.

And Disneyland Adventures for the Kinect???  Once Upon a Monster (sesame street) with Elmo and Cookie Monster for the Kinect???  Not sure about these.  I guess they're cool for the little ones.  The kids playing them on stage seem to be having a blast, so if you have a Kinect and want a non violent game, try those out.  Everything seems to have some sort of Kinect capabilities other than Halo and GoW3.

Ooooo Kinect Fun Labs.  Have your avatar look just like you?  Yes please!  Hmmm Kinect finger tracking?  I doubt I use that much, you might though.  And now you can scan in anything and play as it???  So scanning in Tank!!!  And some new Kinect Sports games with voice activation.  Darts?!?!?!  Oh heck yes!  Football??  So gonna help during the off season when I can't watch the real deal!  May have to get Dance Central 2 as well.  Matt gave me a weird look when I said that lol.

Xbox and Bing???  Live TV??? I can watch UFC on my Xbox??  Kinect powered big name games??  I think I'm a little overwhelmed....

WHAT THE HELL?!?!?!  A new Halo Trilogy?!?!?!?!?!  Halo 4!!!!!!  Says it's coming out Holiday 2012.  Ooooo the excitement!!!

Guess I'm saving up my money this summer to buy a few games for Matt, Bubba, and myself.  And yes, I was watching while blogging so these are all my real reactions lol.

Have you been watching E3?  If so, what do you think?  Any games you just have to have???

30 Days of Photos--Day 4

A picture of my night.  How's about all my night's off????

Yeah yeah, I know "that's gross!"  But it was so much fun!!!  That's my new disc Matt bought me the other day, this was the first night I used it.  It's called a Katana.

This is also what most my nights look like:
Twitter and watching movies on the 360.  I would add the dogs but they're a given.

We also like to make random Wal Mart trips in the middle of the night to see what types of characters are out.  Sometimes we are a very random couple.

What do you do at night???

Love!!

Oh the joys of "motherhood"

Wanna see a cute picture?  Of course you do, you love my pictures.

That would be Bubba and bubbas.  I love my boys.  They're my favorite two boys in the world.  I'm glad they love each other.  If not, it would be uncomfortable when I have them in the same house.  Bubba loves being an uncle.  Boy best be as good an uncle to his human nieces and nephews if and when they decide to come into the world.

Yep this is what my Friday night consisted of.  Plus a crazy Ihop trip.  It was a blast.  Can't wait to get to do this more often!!

Get to go try out my new Frolfing disc tomorrow that Matt bought me.  I'm super excited.  I love disc golf.  I've even made contacts in the sport!!  Super cool huh?  Yeah I thought so too.

What did you do this weekend???

Love!!!

30 Days of Photos--Day 3

A photo of the cast of your favorite show.

Well seein as how I watch way too much tv, I have more than one favorite show.

Like I said, I watch too much tv.  Sometimes I also watch American Pickers, Pawn Stars, and Adult Swim.  It kinda just depends on the day.

I really need to find a hobby other than siting in front of the television.

What shows do you watch religiously???  I'm always looking for new ones to check out... Sad huh?

Again this sucker is late because Bubba was here. That boy takes up all my energy when he's here.  Probably because we goof off and drive everyone nuts.  I can't wait til he can come up all the time.

Love!!

30 Days of Photos--Day 2

A picture of me and the person I have been closest with the longest.  Oddly enough, this person is the reason I am late posting this tonight.  He's asleep on my couch as I type!

My brother and I used to not be close.  When we were young we fought all the time.  Like physically fought.  I threw him head first into the side of our brick house a few times... yeah... not the best big sister there for awhile.

After we moved to Fort Gibson, Bubba and I became close.  Mostly because neither of us wanted to live there.  He watched me go through a lot of shit in high school.  He took up for me more times than I can count.  Even made a girl cry when she called me a bitch.  It was actually quite hilarious watch him cuss this girl up one side and down the other, ending with "and that's why you're a whore" or something to that affect.  I fell over laughing.  It was great.

Now he's all grown up.  Well... sorta... he'll still be my baby brother until after we die.  He's my best friend in the whole world.  I wish I could be more of a help to him right now with everything he's going through.  I want to protect him from all the negative things out there.  And there are quite a few extra of those things in the Bible Belt at times.

I hope he knows that I will always be here for him.  I will never judge him.  In my eyes, he can do no wrong (ok yes he can, but still).  He is my favorite person in the world.  I love him more than he will ever know.

I was going to have something witty to say to end this but I'm almost asleep and don't want to wake Bubba up.  Have a wonderful weekend friends!

Love!!!

Harry Potter puppy?

A couple weeks ago, I left town to see the folks. I come back to a dog with a gash on his head.  No clue how it happened and the roommates hadn't seen it until I did.

I'm not worried.  As you can see, its healing up.  Bubbas is gonna have a scar though.  It looks like Harry's scar oddly enough.  In such a nerd lol.

Maybe he'll get a letter to Hogwarts for dogs soon!!!  Maybe not, he is a little... well... dumb... but I love him anyway.

Happy Friday!!!

Love!!

After looking these over, some are going to be difficult to choose pictures for and some will be hard for me to get past my shallowness to post...  BUT I'm going to do it!!

On to today!!!

  1. Friday the 13th happens to be one of my favorite days of the year.
  2. I'm about as redneck as they come, but you'd never know it! (ok, well, now you do... shit...)
  3. I have a spinal defect, but ask me if it gets me down.  Nope!  Hell, most days you wouldn't even know I had it unless you knew the subtle signs.  It makes me stronger.  It makes me unique.  It also sometimes makes me a bitch.
  4. Wait, I am a bitch.  I'm blunt, pushy, rude, crude, and love to get my way.  But I'm a funny bitch most of the time.  Most people know that I'm not being mean, just me.
  5. I'm thinking about getting my masters in psychology.  I don't know if I want to be a psychologist or a profiler though, it's a toss up.
  6. I used to want to be a Marine.  Still do.  However, when you have all the medical shit wrong with that I do they will most likely laugh in your face if you try to apply.  So I never have.
  7. My little brother got the looks and brains of the family.  I got the social skills and bull shitting ability.  Not sure which of us got the better deal.
  8. Yes, if you look at that picture and ask yourself "Is she a juggalette?"  The answer is yes.  And no.  I love the music and the people but I don't limit myself to only that genre and crowd.
  9. In high school I punched a guy in the face for touching my face.  Apparently it made me hot to the entire football team.  Or so I was told after I started college.  I don't really believe it, but whatevs.
  10. I love me some spinach salad!  Put cooked spinach in front of me and you'll end up like that guy in #9.
  11. Matt has basically forbid me to go to any parties that are predominantly black.  His reasoning?  "They'll steal you away because you have a nice ass!!!!" Yep, got the big ass too!  (he's not a bigot, but he has a point I get a lot of looks in that area)
  12. I squeak when I get to laughing really hard.  Matt and the roommates call it the Pterodactyl.
  13. I squeak when I sneeze.  I get asked everyday "what the hell/fuck was that?!?!?!"
  14. I have an evil villain name.  Crimson Revolver!!  My partner is Night Shade!! (no seriously, my bestie's villain name is Night Shade)
  15. I LOVE eye make up!  I bought a thing with about 50 eye shadows in it at Walgreens one day and have used about half of them.  I just bought some eyeliner from Avon that I'm really excited to get in next week and try out.  Mascara is definitely the one makeup I can't go without though.  I could have on nothing else, but I don't leave the house without that bat shit on my lashes!

Lol, I think I have traumatized yall enough today.

Love!!!

What I'm Loving Wednesday!

You've seen all those different crazy 30 day challenges that have been flying around, haven't you?  I know you have so let's not tease each other acting like you haven't.  I've decided I'm going to do two of them at once.  That's right.  I'm going to give you photo of me every day AND make sure I post every day.  Now I can't promise the post other than the picture is going to be worth much, but maybe it will give you a good laugh or make you scratch your head.  Maybe it will bore you to sleep and help you get that much needed full night's rest.  Whatever it does for you, at least it's doing something!  Since it's WILW, I'm going to start the photo challenge tomorrow.

On to today's topic.

I'm loving...

THOR!!!

Ohmygoodness, have you seen this movie?!?!?!?!  If not, go watch it.  NOW.  You'll regret it if you don't.  So much yummy man candy, good action, some historical legends, science, and a love story all rolled into one!  I know you can't resist a mix this good.  If you can, what kind of life are you leading???  Do you ever get out???  Or do you watch online videos of cats all day long?

Just go watch it.  I'm telling you, you're gonna love it.  Plus, if you've seen the Iron Man movies you'll have some insider knowledge of some of the things going down.

I leave you with these:

Man Candy!!!
Love this movie poster.

Natalie Portman did such a good job in this one.
