It's a shame, isn't it? I was living in Orlando when she went missing. Many of my friends were involved in the searches for her. Everyone was so depressed when her body was found, I guess there was still a lot of hope that she'd be found alive. Honestly, it really doesn't surprise me that her mom got off. I long ago quit having a lot of faith in our justice system. :o(
