Vacay!

How was everyone's Memorial Day weekend?  Any great adventures?

I had my first vacation in several years, it was great.  The boyfriend and I went to the Illinois River with his friends to camp and float.  I float this river every year, but I don't think I have ever camped out there.  Unless you count spending a night or two in some of the cabins, but those have air conditioning and bathrooms so I really don't.

Honestly, I didn't really want to go.  We had had a few disagreements over the whole idea of the trip.  As crazy as I can be, I don't really feel comfortable around large groups of people I don't know if they're drinking much.  Let's face it, it's the river.  There will be copious amounts of alcohol consumed.  Also, I can be very easily irritated when I'm drinking.  I didn't want to get mad at people I didn't know for some stupid reason or get them mad at me.

I am SO glad I went, however.  I've never met a better group of people in my life.  And I've never had more adventures in four days than I did this last weekend.

We were supposed to have a campsite with electricity so we would have lights for beer pong and be able to plug in our speakers.  When we arrived, however, we had been given one without access to electric.  We talked the office into letting us move to a site where we could bum some off another site.  Then we figured out the tent Dad let us borrow was missing all the poles, and my whole family was in Houston so we couldn't just drive the 30 minutes back to their place to get another one.  Thankfully, someone had brought an extra tent.  Other than that, the first night was pretty uneventful.  My friends B and Joe came out to drink with us for awhile.  I got pretty drunk and ended up opening up quicker than normal.  The boyfriend and I ended up having to sleep on the ground the first night because we forgot to blow up the air mattress.

We floated the river Saturday.  We were supposed to go the whole 12 miles, however, when you run out of food, beer, cigarettes, and water for an entire group of 15-20 drunk people you tend to abandon that mission.  I ended the trip with a few sets of beads (imagine that!), some scrapes and bruises from being pushed out of the rafts a few times, and a major sunburn.  It didn't help that we all ended up drunk before we even got on the bus to get to the river.  Nothing like ended up hungover in the cruel Oklahoma sun.  It took us 7 hours to go 6 miles, which is ridiculous.  We were all playing musical rafts, shooting strangers with water guns, bribing girls to show their boobs for beads.  It was a lot of fun.

That night, we had a transvestite show up at our camp.  You guys know me and know I have no problem with anyone's sexuality, but this "girl" had issues.  One of the guys brought her over, I assume with the intent to sleep with her, and realized when she stepped under our spotlight that she had at one point in her life been a man.  If the group wasn't made up of mostly redneck-ish people, I'm sure it would have been fine, but we couldn't help but snicker.  She didn't help matters much by being trashed and passing out in the middle of our campsite.

The next day we headed back out to the river.  Very few of us drank that morning.  Boyfriend and I ended up on a raft with another couple the entire trip, which was actually quite fun.  We freaked out when we saw giant catfish in the river and were bummed when we realized the fishing gear was back at camp.  So we rigged up a redneck fishing pole using the straps from the coozies you hang around your neck and a keyring from one of the dry boxes.  We used pieces of sandwiches for bait.  Obviously we didn't catch anything, but we had a lot of fun and got some great laughs from other people.  The boys decided jumping at the fish from the raft was a much better way to go.  It was quite comical.  Again, we bailed at the 6 mile point.  This time we had enough of everything, we were just way too exhausted from the day before to continue.  And the wind was blowing so hard the wrong direction it would push you upstream at times.

Sunday night was pretty eventful.  We got back to camp as the cops were pulling into the area.  Apparently some guy was beat up and put in his raft to continue downstream.  It was supposedly a gang fight (considering how close it is to Muskogee it's possible), however, that was never confirmed.  We were visited by some very interesting gentlemen later.  They were in kilts and tin foil hats.  They asked us to sign their noodle.  Even later, B and I were drunkenly two-stepping and from nowhere we here "I'll teach you to play country music!"  One of the guys had been in his tent with a girl we began to refer to as Fluffy White Chick from the next site over, and he came out butt ass naked.  The few of us that were still awake ended up on the other side of the fire from him as he attempted to piss in the fire.  Then he approached us asking "Who wants a hug?"  Fuckers pushed the smallest person out front...  We ended the night "singing" metal and discussing what groups we like and hate.

Monday we all headed out.  Boyfriend and I spent the night at my parents' house because we were exhausted and didn't want to fight post holiday traffic.  It was definitely the best weekend I've had in a long time!

Beer pong!

I think we're freakin adorable, just sayin.

No clue what Joe and I are doing here, but it must have been hilarious to the guy behind me.

What's New with you? Well, ya see this one time...

It has been a crazy month or so it seems.  I lost my job last month, but hey!  I found a new one and I start a week from today, which kicks ass, especially since it's at my favorite place.  Tank and I lost Cleo a few weeks ago, which has been hard on both of us but him the most.  We're learning how to deal with just the two of us: walks, dog park, just chillin' watching tv.  Thankfully, my friends are the best and have been my wall anytime I need it.

While I haven't been working, I have been staying busy.  I've been spending a lot of time with the girls and the new boy.  I've been trying to catch up on my reading, but that's difficult to do with a perpetual puppy in the house lol.  I've been taking a lot of pictures of everything when I can.

CC's 23rd birthday was earlier this month.  We went out to Jazzmo's in Bricktown.  If I could afford it, I'd eat there all the time.  It's cajun style cuisine.  Instead of opting for my usual of salmon or catfish, I went out on a limb and ordered chicken fried alligator.  It was good, but really didn't have a distinct flavor which was disappointing.  You know the old saying "It tastes like chicken"?   Yeah, well it did... The gator bites I nabbed from Trulock were great though!

CC, AE, and I at O'Connell's karaoke.  It's a tradition now.

CC's birthday at Jazzmo's.  Love that place!  She and I shared oysters, while everyone shared entrees lol.
Tank has been making so many new friends lately at the dog park.  Bestie has been taking her two dogs out with us, and he loves those girls!  Belle looks like a mini-me when she's next to him.  Today there was a beautiful great dane out.  Tank decided he wanted to play with him.  Poor Tank kept getting run over and trampled, so he settled for barking and running back and forth.
Tank at the dog park.  He loves little dogs.

Sometimes they can be a bit feisty though.

"Hey, whatcha doin?  I wanna play!"

"You're a bit bigger than me..."

Such a happy boy, I love him to pieces.
Yes, there is a new boy.  Well sorta.  Yeah, I don't know how to describe the situation at the moment.  I'm happy though, that's all that matters.  And Tank loves him, which is a must.  He seems to really like Tank too (again, a must).  When it's just Tank and I, he lays around, but when the boy is around he's hyper and crazy.  It's adorable.
Oddly enough, he latched onto the new boy quite quickly.

Yeah, he didn't like me taking this picture lol.
Other than that, I've been job hunting.  Successfully, I might add.  This was my celebration this evening.  After a drunken one the other night.  I almost turned in THAT GIRL that night, almost but not quite THANK GOD!!!  Bought some Cinderella heels (Pink and glittery) and danced all night lol.
SUSHI!!!  Bestie, my old roommate and I had dinner together tonight.  Our favorite food EVA!

I've been doing a lot of cooking too.  Sometime this week, I'm going to some random foreign food market in the metro with Logan.  I'm excited to try even more new things.  I'll even take pictures for you guys, not like you didn't expect that though.

Well, off to have a beer or two to end a pretty damn good day.  Happy Monday!!

Love!!!

Buns of Steel--the Sassy edition!!!

That's right, I'm gonna work my ass off in the next few weeks!  Okay, not literally because I like my ghetto ass but it does need some toning and tightening.  I've gotten very sick of how out of shape I have been the last few years.  When you go from 130lbs at your best to 217lbs at your worst, you may have a problem...  I'm no longer that big but dieting and light exercise alone can only go so far.  I have the drive now to see something through til the very end.  If I hurt myself or get sick again, like I did the last time I tried the whole home workout thing, I'll slow down.  But no stopping this time.  I'm determined to look and feel my best!

This is me in one of my high school plays.  This isn't even me at my smallest but it definitely illustrates what I'm getting at.

This is me at close to my heaviest.  I tried to avoid cameras at this point so I don't have many of me like this.  Oh the things I will do for my lovely Lil!

This is me a few months ago.  Much better than before, but not good enough for me.  As long as the boobs don't disappear I'll be happy lol!
So now that you know how much I have changed in weight over the years, let me tell you where I'm going to get my workouts.

Like I said above, I have tried this before (back when my knee injury was somewhat fresh and my asthma was going crazy.  My back was also near its worst at this point).  Matt and I tried p90x about a year or so ago and both failed.  I did, however, find my love for the Ab Ripper X workout.  I also love the stretch and I bet I'll love the Yoga X.

I plan on incorporating those with some of the Insanity workouts and Jillian Michaels' workouts.  I need to watch those and figure out what I like before I decide what I'll keep and what I'll just do at random for muscle confusion.  I'm also going to get a membership at a local gym so I can work with stabilized weights and timed cardio.  It's open 24 hours a day so I can go after work without worrying about getting kicked out.  It also has free tanning so I can get rid of this pasty whiteness.  It's secure and card access only even during staffed hours and guests are not allowed.  I'm pretty sure I've found the place for me!  And it's around $30/month which is ridiculous in this day and age for unlimited gym/tanning!!

So tomorrow I will weigh myself and try to remember to do my measurements so we can get a starting point, and to make realistic goals.  50lbs is my start though.

Well I'm off to bed lovelies.  I have to work in 6 hours.  Sweet dreams!!

I am SUCH a nerd!!

You guys know this by now.  If you don't, what rock have you been living under??  Well for those of you who don't know read about it here, here, here, here, here, and here.  I'll wait.

Sorry, fell asleep there for a bit.  Where was I?  Nerd.  Right.

Tonight was the season finale of one of my favorite History Channel shows, Swamp People.  If you haven't heard of this one you're missing out.  It's about people in Louisiana that make their living by hunting gators.  It's like the redneck Deadliest Catch!!

The guy in front is Troy "Choot'm Liz!"

We've been watching this show since it started.  I even have my favorite groups: Troy & Liz, the Guist brothers, and RJ & Jay Paul (this one is gor-jus!!!).  On this episode, two of the groups go after the same gator, the Ruga-Roo, a giant 13 ft 8 in gator that has been a legend for years.  I won't tell if it gets caught.  You gotta watch it for yourselves!!

This is Liz.

Jay Paul and R.J.

The Guist Brothers

Seriously, this is my backwoods guilty pleasure.  And History Channel is one of my favorite things to watch period.  Cuz "it's made everyday".

Ok, well off to bed for now dearies!!

I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

Matt and I had our first date night in basically forever earlier tonight.  We definitely need to do these more often.  Unfortunately work seems to get in the way as does the whole always being broke issue.  I know, I know it doesn't take money to have a date night but we watch movies and cook dinner together all the time.  Maybe a surprise fishing trip or picnic.  I dunno, those sound kinda corny.  What do you do for date nights?

We went to see Harry Potter and the Death Hallows part 2.  OHMYGOODNESS!!!  It was amazing!  It was the most true to the original story out of all the movies, or so I thought.  I don't want to give away any spoilers if you haven't seen it yet, which is hard as hell right now.  If you wanna chat about it just shoot me an email.  I will say I had a hard time picking a favorite character of the movie: Neville, Molly, Snape, I think I may have already said too much...

Oddly enough, it didn't have a lot of one-liners like the others did.  So in honor of Harry, Ron, and Hermione I am sharing with you some of my favorite things Harry Potter that I have found over the past several years while growing up with them.

Do you remember where you were when this came out?  I was in line for my first and last HP premier.
This makes me smile.  They look pretty awesome this way.

The only LEGOS game I haven't at least attempted.  I need to go buy this.

Who knew you could make a purse out of a book???  This is so very cute.

This is the purse I bought myself recently.  I wanted it for when I went to see the movie but alas overnight shipping is ridiculously too high right now.

MuggleNet--An awesome website with articles on all things Harry Potter.  You should definitely check it out!

J.K. Rowling Official Site--Need I say more???

The Leaky Cauldron--Another site for all things Potter.  It's pretty legit.

Lord_Voldemort7--The best Twitter account by an evil wizard I have ever come across!!

And last but not least, my newest favorite quote:

"Don't pity the dead.  Pity the living who have not known love." Dumbledore, HP7.2 (weird that blogger doesn't see Dumbledore as a misspelled word, but fitting, he was the only wizard Voldemort was afraid of).

I bid you all ado.

Red Hot Moon night

Another long night without a/c it is!  You would think a repair company would order parts as soon as they know said parts are needed.  Apparently that is much to much to expect in the middle of a record breaking summer when an a/c unit has stopped working.  I mean, I wouldn't want them to have to actually DO their job or anything.

I guess you can guess that, in fact, I did not get my a/c fixed today--after they showed up Saturday and said they would have the part today.  They were out when today rolled around.  But no worries, we were told today that they are having the part overnighted.  So only one more day until we know when we can sleep in our beds again.  No worries, I'm sure my fur-babies can stand another day of 100+ temperatures.

I really just want to give those stupid repair men a sharp kick in the gonads thank you for taking their sweet time and endangering all our lives making sure they have the newest part possible.

Off my soapbox now.

Things are still quite stressful in my life, but I'm coping.  I've dealt with worse.  It's just been awhile since I've had so many large things fall on me at once.  I really want to thank you guys for all your support, you have no idea how much it has lifted my spirits.  To know I can come here and pour my heart out to people some would call complete strangers (not me, I feel like I know yall better than most of the people I see on a daily basis) lets me know that I am not alone.  I have grown in my short time in our little community.  I have found an outlet for my stresses and a constructive hobby to spend my freetime doing.

Because of this personal growth, I have decided to rename my blog.  Come Saturday my blog will be under the name Sassy Miss Allie.  I was just going to change it tonight, but thought many wouldn't know what was going on and wouldn't stop by to see it.  I'll be working on new buttons this week, so don't forget to grab one.

I've also been debating on putting up some of my photos on Etsy.  I haven't really put most of my personal favorites on here but I'll slowly start doing so.  Let me know what you think, I love feedback.

"Red Hot Moon" Taken 7/11/11 on the HTC Inspire. Edited with Gimp.

Yep, that's a phone pic that I played around with.  The original is wonderful too.

I was quite proud of myself for this one and can't wait to print it off to put in my bedroom.

Thank you again for everything my friends.  Have a wonderful week.

Doin the No Pants Dance

Seriously, I am.  Well I don't have pants on anyway.  It's too hot in my house to dance... That's right my a/c is out... again!!!  So is the one at work...  If I had a hammock, I'd sleep outside tonight.  It's cooler out there than in my house which is quite sad...

Sorry had to pause to chase Tank down the road... in this:

Yep, I'm in my underwear and one of Matt's wifebeaters... I'm glad its the middle of the night here or I'd be in trouble.  Too many kids live in my neighborhood for me to get away with that.  Please ignore my gross bathroom... 4 people sharing a bathroom and all but 1 being male makes for a hard to keep clean bathroom.

Anywhooo!  Today is Day 22 of my photo challenge.  The challenge is to post a picture of something I wish I was better at.  Really?  Um, taking over the world work?

Haha just kidding.

I'm gonna recycle a picture or two from a non challenge post here.

Frisbee golf (aka disc golf or frolfing).  I love playing this game.  I just wish I was good enough to compete and be sponsored.  I love that Matt and I can play a sport together.  I also love that I can actually play a sport that won't hurt back but still gives me a good workout.  I also wish I had more time to play it.  I'm always working it seems.  If I'm not working, I'm sleeping.  I go only if Matt and I have a day off together.  I just can't seem to find the motivation to go alone, it's a competition sport.  I love it though even if I'm not as good as I want to be.

So I'm sitting here in my underwear watching Power Rangers with Bubba and Trulock.  This whole no a/c thing has definitely killed any and all modesty I had left.  Not that there was much left to begin with.  This would be completely awesome if I wasn't sweating my balls off!!

We went to the Second Friday Art Walk earlier tonight.  I had so much fun!!  If my phone wasn't dying and my charger dead I'd upload pictures of what we bought.  Well minus the present I got for Sarcasm Goddess.  It's a sur-prize.  I found something that made me laugh almost as hard as her posts do, so I had to get it obviously.

Ugh... I gotta get up soon... I'm gonna lay in bed and sweat until my alarm goes off...  G'night!!

Love!!

Day 21--Something I wish I could Forget

Ok so here's the deal peeps, Allie doesn't like to forget things.  The things I've gone through have made me who I am.  They made the random, erratic, crazy bitch you guys seem to love (don't know why though).

But there is one person that really and truly I want to punch in the face right now (more so than the evil neighbor kid who pokes Roxi with sticks, SG! we can sacrifice this one first!).  As yall know, Bubba is my best friend.  So fuck with him, you fuck with me.

This fucker broke Bubba's heart.  Nuff said right???  But NOOOOO he's been talking shit about him since they started dating!!!  Like I said, I'd like to forget him.  He makes me blindedly angry.

Now that I got that off my chest (sorry, more profanity than usual, see previous statement)....  I know I promised Fourth updates, but I can't find my camera cord so you'll just have to wait. :P

The ac at work broke.... AGAIN... I swear these people do not know how to get things repaired properly.  I'm pretty sure I could fix it better than they have (helps that dad works on them though).

Oh!  Check this bad ass chick out!  She's hosting an awesome blog hop and you should join.  Oh and stalk us both!

Anyway, Bubba is here so I'm gonna get off here.  Go watch the new season of True Blood, seriously.  You need to.

Link Love Friday (on a lazy Saturday) and Day 20

I know I know, it's not Friday.  Well Friday was full of work work work and then trying to pack to go see the folks this weekend.

And here I am still at home.  Stupid migraines... I'm gonna fight this and make the most of the rest of the weekend.  First thing's first.  A couple fun little link up's.

I'm joining Curvy Lady for her Link Love Friday topic this week:
LINK LOVE FRIDAY QUESTION
What was the last song you sang in the shower and what would Simon Cowell say if he heard you?

My go to shower songs tend to be anything by Katy Perry.  Lemme tell ya, I can belt it on that shower stage!  Simon would be in tears after hearing me.  Tears that he can't hear anymore haha!  I won't let that stop me though!  Just imagine me doing my version of this video while sudsing up before work every morning!

Inspirational!
Or this one?

Just scandalous, I tell ya!

I could replicate either of these in any shower, any time, any where in the world!

Anywhere in particular I would want to do my versions?  Why yes, thank you for asking!
My top 2 places I want to travel (day 20 of the 30 day photo challenge, in case you're wondering) are these:

Ireland, home of over half my ancestors.
Amsterdam, one of the most tolerant places on Earth.

I know I know, two completely different yet stereotypical places to go.  I plan to take a metro as much as possible between the two (yes, Ireland is an island I know this) so I get to see a good chunk of the places in between.

If you are joining from the Lady Blogger Social Tea Party, welcome!  If you are just stumbling onto my humble abode, take it all in at any pace you feel comfortable with!

I hope you will stop back by sometime.

Time for some ice cream and chocolate w/ some tea for this horrid migraine episode....

Have a happy Fourth!

So cute I may hurl!

Ever see pictures of kids that are so cute you want to puke?  I used to be one of those kids.  Yep, me.  The girl with 11 piercings (a few of which in un-nameable places) and a big baby of a pit bull dog.  The girl who posts pictures of her nasty feet just to share what I did that evening.

I had to wait ages for mom to send me these!!  Hold your applause....

Oh yeah, this is Day 19 of the 30 Day Photo Challenge--A picture of me when I was little.  That adorable little gentleman is Bubba.

I'm sooo happy to be off today!  Then one more day of work and I get a four day weekend!  Means I'm drivin home to see Bubba and the fam most likely.  I love the Fourth.  We usually have a big neighborhood cookout and fireworks show.  This year, we're going to dad's boat club for food and fishing.  Not sure what all else, but I like creating new traditions sometimes.  As long as it involves fireworks, drinking, and family I don't really care what we do.

Do you celebrate the Fourth of July?  Do you have any traditions?

I'm gonna lay it all out there

I mean it.  Really.  Eventually.

Have you ever chased your dogs through the field behind your house because your fence was blown down by hurricane force winds even though you clearly live smack dab in the middle of a landlocked state?  I have!  The dogs decided to find their way into the backyard while Matt and I were bleaching the kitchen (this is another story all together).  Here's how that train of thought/adventure went for them:

Dogs: ooo! back door is open! (get into yard)

Roxi: I don't remember the yard being this big...

Tank: Imma chase my tail while laying on the ground!

Roxi: Let's go see what this is! (runs through gaping gape in fence)

Tank: Om nom nom tail.... Wait!  Where you goin???  Wait for me!!  (follows Roxi)

(Dogs run east to 24th SE)

Roxi: ah fooey!  This is a road... I wonder where the other way leads?

Tank: Om nom nom more tail... What's those things goin by real fast???  They look like they need chased!

Roxi: goin this way!!! (runs west)

Tank:  baaahhh wait for me!!! (ADD kicks in and he forgets about those things and follows Roxi)

Roxi:  I think daddy is yelling at me... I'm gonna keep runnin cause he's chasing me, game right?  (Matt histerically yelling, Allie huffing and puffing miles behind...)

Tank:  Roxi! Roxi! Rox (falls in hole) oop, gopher hole! {bonus points to who can name that movie!}

Roxi: Yep he's yelling my name... More room to run!  Daddy catch up!!

Tank: Here comes the dog, strong and brave - woof! Here comes the dog, your life he...
(falls into a hole) {name this one too!}

Roxi: Ahhh s#!*... I'm done, daddy's mad...

Tank: Why we stoppin???  Hey daddy!  Let's run!

Roxi: hey dumb@$$, we're in trouble...

Seriously, that is how it went.  They spent the greater part of the evening in time out, whilst Matt and I finished bleaching the kitchen and decluttering the living room.  I was dripping in sweat by the time we stopped, it was ridiculous the amount of cleaning our house needed.  I thought we did a decent job of keeping it, well, decent.  Apparently not...

Sadly, that isn't what I'm layin out there today... this is... my biggest insecurity for day 18 of my photo challenge.  This is actually quite hard for me to admit to, I'm a shallow person.  Sue me.  You can't say you aren't ever shallow.  You can?  Really?  I'm gonna show you a greek god and an average Joe.  Without knowing either of them at all, who would you choose without thinking?  The god.  Everyone would.  That's shallow, so there!  If you wouldn't, I think we may have just witnessed the second coming.

Here goes...

That my dear friends... is stretch marks... on my no longer at all toned tummy... or flab, whatever you wanna call it...

I used to be quite a bit smaller than I am now.  Moving to Norman ruined my figure (other than giving me nice gozongas).  I'm determined to get back to where I was fifty pounds ago.  Once I get paid again, I'm getting a gym membership to aid in my weight loss.  I know I've already lost a good chunk, but it's not good enough for me.  I wanna be able to keep up with Matt.  The boy has had back surgery for crying out loud!  I should be able to easily keep up with him even if I'm severely out of shape.  I've also been told it will help with my back pain to get back to my former size.

No more self loathing tonight!  I'm gonna go try to get my freak on haha.

And yes, Tank is pretty dumb and absent minded.  I know you got that, but I know there are a few people who won't catch it.  I love the cuddly thing, but he's dumb as a box of rocks.  He does actually lay on the floor and chase his tail at the same time for what seems like hours.  It's quite entertaining.  For both him and myself.

Hope you had a wonderful start to your week!

Love!!

30 Days of Photos--Day 17

Have you ever had something make such a profound impact on your life that it doesn't matter how long ago it happened?  I have.

When I graduated from college.  It wasn't that long ago, December 2010 to be exact, but it still has an impact on my life.  With the economy the way it has been, I have been lucky to have a job.  Especially one that will work around school if I decide to go back for my Masters, which I eventually plan to do.  Graduation also gives me a chance at a better life.  Don't get me wrong, I have a good life, sometimes hard, but good, but a degree makes it easier to not have to worry about every little thing.

Ugh, it's been a very short weekend.  I spent yesterday on the road, and a good portion of today cleaning... I feel like I haven't even really had a weekend... I wish I could have just a plain old boring weekend with nothing to do.  I think I'm about to head to bed... Tomorrow starts another long work week...  I sound so enthused don't I?  Sorry just tired of the same old same old.  I need some adventure!  Some good ol' couch surfing adventure!  Haha, whatever works.  Anyway, off to bed lovelies.

Love!!

Are we There Yet??? He's touching me!! I'm hungry!!

How many times have you heard those?  Hundreds?  Thousands?  More I bet.  That's typically what you here from siblings in a long car ride.  That's how my brother and I are.

But not today!  We went on a mini roadtrip to Kinta, OK today to see family.  We haven't seen our great aunt and uncle in years.  GA isn't doing too well, she has some sort of condition that causes her spine to be in constant pain.  She was told it could get better but she would have to take narcotics for the pain until then.  Dad said she probably wouldn't make it much longer.  GU is going deaf but is still getting around well.  He was at a fishing tournament when we got to the house.  He did show up before we left, which was nice.

We had a lot of fun.  If you ever head to northeast Oklahoma, you absolutely have to stop in at Duke's Diner in Warner.  I've been told their burgers are good, but I had their grilled chicken.  It was amazing!!  They put lemon pepper on it and possibly lemon juice.  You put lemon pepper on something and I will most likely love it though haha.

On the road again!

My handsome brother

Their cute little house.

You should definitely click on this and read the fish.  That's OSU for ya!

You can't get views like this in the city.

30 Day photo Challenge--Day 16:  Someone who inspires you.

Michael Bloomberg inspires me quite a bit.  What he was able to do in NYC so soon after the towers fell amazes me.
As for an actress, Alyson Hannigan inspires me.  She can any part thrown at her and make it look natural.
Of course, both my momma and Meme inspire me, but I personally see those as givens (in my case anyway).

Hope you guys are having a wonderful weekend!

Love!!
